Rum, and Natural Reserves that extend across the country.

Resources: Comprising mainly locations like the Dead Sea, as well as areas
featuring waterfalls and hot springs, such as Ma’in Hot Springs and others.

Um Al- Jimmal is located at the edge of the eastern basalt desert plain. Um Al Jimmal is Nabatean/ Roman/ Byzantine caravan way station where it has a strategic location close to the junction of several ancient routes that linked Jordan with Syria and Iraq.
Um Al- Jimmal is an archaeological city, located about 86km from Amman, near the city of Mafraq near the Syrian-Jordanian border, known as the “Black Oasis” due to the presence of large numbers of black volcanic stones. The history of this city goes back to the Nabataean Roman and Byzantine eras. This city was built in one of the settlements of the ancient Nabatean, using black basalt brick supported by rectangular blocks of basalt, and this city was flourished in the first century BC. In this city, there was the remains of forts incubated inside many churches between large and small, covered or uncovered pools of water, as well as the remains of a Roman military outpost.
There are also traces of the Byzantine churches, also an old mosaic was found in Um Al- Jimmal, which representing the Jordan River with the cities and villages that mentioned in the Bible on its sides.
